Why labor is out. Your rate card is your business. If labor counted toward commission, we would have a reason to look at your pricing — and you would have a reason to move numbers between lines. Neither of those is a relationship worth having.
Why compute pays less. Cameras, recorders, drives, and network gear carry the room to pay 12%. SiliVision compute units are built close to cost so the systems stay affordable, so they pay 6%. We would rather show you the real reason than average the two into a number that quietly punishes camera-heavy jobs.
Sell components and you earn by category. Sell one of the presale system packages and you earn a flat amount, so nobody has to argue about which line belongs where.

Licenses run $5 to $35 per month. A percentage of that is a rounding error on your invoice, so we don't insult you with one. You get the product instead.
